The building has 22 passenger elevators and two freight elevators. The building employs a full-time elevator mechanic who is on site Monday through Friday. In the unlikely event that an elevator malfunctions while you’re in it, please do not panic. The building’s elevators have numerous safety features, which include mechanical and electrical brakes. Please push the emergency call button. This will sound an alarm and connect you with lobby security who will immediately contact the building’s elevator contractor. Remain in the elevator until the mechanic secures your release. Remember it is much safer to remain inside the elevator than to try and exit on your own.
